Daycare That Enriches
At PV Bark, our mission is to enrich the lives of dogs so that they may bring happiness to their humans. This means that each dog leaves us physically, mentally, and emotionally better off than when they arrived. We deliver on this commitment by providing enriching experiences to every dog that participates in our daycare program.

The Better Option
Our structured daycare program provides each dog with 1-on-1 time with team members plus social time with a small group of dog friends. We focus on your pet's preferred activities and cater to their individual needs.
Pets are rotated between periods of high energy small group play, individual activities, low energy small group activities and socializing, mentally stimulating toys and puzzles, and high-quality rest periods.

Perfect for Every Pet
Like people, most dogs find large groups overwhelming and overstimulating. PV Bark’s enriching daycare program tailors their daycare experience to each pet's individual needs.
The first 5 days that your pet spends in our daycare program form our Daycare Induction Process. During this period we take the time to really get to know your pet and build an understanding of their individual likes and preferences including what they like to play, their preferred style of play, and their energy level.

Confidence You Can Feel
Pet parents reap the benefits of enrichment-based daycare — their pets go home content, calm, and ready to engage with the family in a productive way.
Enrich Every Day
Give you and your pet the gift of a happier, more enriched life by joining our unique daycare experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
In a traditional daycare environment, large groups of dogs mill about all day long supervised by staff whose primary responsibility is to keep the excitement level down. Most dogs find this to be a stressful experience. PV Bark offers a healthy alternative designed to stimulate your pet physically, mentally, and emotionally by engaging them in activities they really enjoy in small groups or 1-on-1 with staff members.
PV Bark team members undergo thorough training in canine body language, behaviors, calming signals, and managing stress in dogs. We also offer a comprehensive Daycare Induction Process, where we take the time to truly get to know your dog as an individual, what they like, what they dislike, and design a daycare experience customized to their unique needs.
Yes, PV Bark requires that all pets who avail of our services are current on their Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines. We highly recommend that pets are also current on their Leptospirosis vaccine. This is to minimize risk to the health of all pets visiting PV Bark.
Titers are tests performed to verify the presence of antibodies in the blood. Veterinarians may use this information to evaluate a dog’s immune system and design a vaccination protocol for that pet. Today, it is possible to get titers for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Adenovirus. However, there is currently no way to titer for Bordetella or Leptospirosis. The accuracy of the titer results depends entirely on the caliber of the lab performing the testing.
When pets enter community environments such as pet care facilities, dog parks, or even crowded streets, they are exposed to highly contagious, and sometimes deadly, diseases. Some of these diseases can be transmitted to humans and can be just as deadly to us as to our pets. Vaccinating your pet helps protect them, and you, from these diseases.
PV Bark has discussed the pros and cons of vaccinating pets with pet parents and with veterinarians. We empathize with pet parents who choose to not vaccinate their pets. However, PV Bark is a pet community environment, visited by many pets each day. We believe that pets are put at high risk if they enter PV Bark without first being vaccinated. Additionally, PV Bark has a responsibility to help protect our staff from the diseases that are transmissible to humans from the pets that visit the facility.
Therefore, PV Bark requires that all pets visiting our facility are current on their Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines. We highly recommend that pets are also current on their Leptospirosis vaccine. PV Bark does not accept titer results in lieu of vaccination records.
No, we do not accept records of vaccinations administered at home. PV Bark requires that all vaccines be administered by a veterinarian because they are educated on maintaining the cold chain of the vaccine, ensuring that it is viable, and effective, when administered. Unfortunately, when somebody buys a vaccine from a store, they cannot be certain that the vaccine was always kept at the appropriate temperatures required to keep it viable.
